We are pleased to share that this summer, The Perse School Singapore will be hosting an in-person, project-based Artificial Intelligence programme delivered by Inspirit AI, whose instructors include alumni from Stanford, MIT and the Ivy League. Inspirit previously visited our campus last year, and we are delighted to welcome them back with an updated, hands-on curriculum for both new and returning students.
Students entering Years 8–11 will explore the fundamentals of generative AI, experiment with prompting strategies, and gain practical experience using leading AI tools. Working in small groups, students will design and develop their own AI project addressing a real-world challenge such as healthcare, environmental sustainability, education or engineering. The programme will conclude with a final showcase where students present their projects. Please read more here and apply here!
Students entering Years 5–7 who are new to the programme will learn the basics of artificial intelligence through block-based programming tools such as Scratch and Thunkable, alongside machine learning tools including Google’s Teachable Machine. Students will build their own simple AI applications — such as chatbots and image classifiers — and present their work during a final showcase. Please read more here and apply here!
The programme will be delivered in person at The Perse School Singapore by Inspirit’s AI practitioners and graduate students from leading universities. The cost for Singapore residents is USD $1,600.
