Introduction to Senior School
for Year 6 Parents

On Friday 20 March at 2.00pm, we warmly invite our Year 6 parents to join us in the Senior School for a special introduction session, designed to support the transition from Primary to Senior School.

This event forms part of our transition and familiarisation programme and will offer parents the opportunity to observe Year 7 lessons and hear from Ms Oldfield, along with our Senior School subject leads: Mrs Trevitt (English), Mr Guo (Mathematics) and Mr Panchal (Science).

In the lead-up to this move, Year 6 students will also take part in lessons delivered by Senior School teachers, in addition to the usual “Moving Up Day” at the end of Term 3, helping them feel confident and prepared for this exciting next step.

As shared by our Co-CEOs in last week’s newsletter, recruitment for new Senior School leadership roles is now underway, and we are excited about the continued growth and development of our Senior School provision.

Further details will follow shortly — we look forward to welcoming you!

Senior School Council:
First Meeting of the Year!

The Senior School Council met for the first time on Thursday morning, bringing together students from all year groups who had elected to help shape our school community at The Perse School. Guided by Ms McAndrew and Mr O’Brien, students discussed how the council will run this year and began planning a series of subcommittees. These subcommittees will allow the council to focus on specific areas of school life (for example events and the environment), ensuring ideas can be explored in depth and turned into meaningful action.
