One of our school values is to show Care and Respect for each other.
At The Perse School Singapore, we ask that everyone on campus — students, parents, caregivers and staff — treats others with kindness and consideration. The way we speak to and behave towards one another reflects who we are as a school community, and we take that seriously.
Together, we create a school where everyone feels safe, valued and welcome.
We know the school day can be a busy one, and we’re glad to offer some spaces where you can pause, catch up and grab a coffee.
After drop-off, the canteen and foyer are open for parents to use. We do ask that you make your way out of the canteen by 9:00am, as the spaces are needed for classes from that point. The foyer can remain a waiting area for parents throughout the day, particularly if you are waiting for a meeting with a member of staff.
In the afternoon, the canteen reopens from 3:00pm ahead of collection, with the café serving snacks and drinks. You’re very welcome to sit here while you wait.
Whilst waiting for collection (including before ECAs) we kindly ask all children and families to remain in the canteen or foyer area and refrain from walking around the school. Please also remember to wear your Parent School ID when on campus — it’s a small thing that makes a big difference to our safeguarding team. If you forget your ID, please ask the security team for a Visitor pass.
Singapore sunshine is something we all love — but during outdoor play, lunch breaks and PE, a good hat makes a real difference for our students. We encourage all School students to keep a school hat in their bag so it’s always there when they need it. The Perse hat is available from the uniform shop and makes a great spare if yours has gone missing!
Hats are available from the uniform shop supplier Bibi Baba,

Recently we celebrated Japanese Children’s Day which was a great success! We understand that maintaining our comfort during events in the MPH is important. The school will ensure fans are on at all times unless an activity/presentation may warrant them being turned off for a short period of time, such as the Japanese Large Brush Calligraphy event, which required fans to be switched off. Thank you again for being part of our school community and supporting our students during these events.
